Cayel grew up training at Ballet West, as well as his mother’s dance studio in Orem, Utah. He went on to earn is B.F.A in Music, Dance, and Theater from Brigham Young University, where he toured over 12 countries on their contemporary dance company.

He has been on faculty and guest taught at multiple studios throughout the country, and has a passion for teaching the performing arts. He currently lives in New York City, with his husband Noah.
