Emma Benson is a professional actress, singer and dancer based in Stamford Connecticut, and is thrilled to be working at The Studio! She graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory in 2018 with a BFA in musical theatre, and quickly joined the national tour of 'Something Rotten'. She also toured with 'The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Musical', originating the role of Suzy Cupcake, in 2019 and 2021. Regionally, she has worked at theaters like Tuacahn Center for the Performing Arts, Shenandoah Summer Music Theater, and The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina. Recently, she was cruising around the world while singing 80s rock for 'Syd Norman's Pourhouse' onboard the Norwegian Prima. Emma teaches dance in Norwalk, Greenwich, and now New Canaan, and she is so excited to be joining The Studio's team. Her classes aim to break down dance steps and technique for actors and singers who want to boost their dance ability in an open environment. Dance is for everybody, come one come all!
