Kate is beyond thrilled and honored to return to The Studio as a teacher! Kate was one of the very first students back when The Studio first opened its doors in 2003. After graduating NCHS in 2005, Kate received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University in 2009. Since graduating, Kate has been in many shows in musical workshops around the county and NYC including Sacramento Music Circus, St Louis MUNY and Roundabout Theatre Co., to name a few. Kate’s also been seen on TV in Mistresses on ABC and HAPPYish on Showtime. Upon moving back to the area Kate played Louise in Gypsy at Music Theatre of Connecticut and won the Connecticut Critics’ Circle Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Before teaching at The Studio, Kate taught private voice lessons at Music Theatre of Connecticut. She is a proud member of AEA & SAG-AFTRA.
