Lorah came to The Studio in August of 2010 as the Office Manager and a few months later became the Owner/Executive Director.
She grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and later attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she received a bachelors degrees in Acting and Communications.
Regional work includes: Urinetown, Little Women, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Evita, Sweeney Todd, Wild Party, Candide, Into the Woods, Christmas Carol, and in concert with Marin Mazzie & Jason Danieley.
Growing up, Lorah spent her time plopping around on the piano, playing every sport imaginable, dancing in tap, ballet & jazz competitions, and (not so subtley) belting out showtunes in her bedroom.
While at college, she began her own photography business doing headshots for fellow actors, and portraits for the children at the daycare center she worked at.
Just before Lorah flew out to the east coast, she assistant directed South Pacific.
If you dig deep enough into the archives of Discovery Channel you'll find her in an Extreme Weather episode, and somewhere in the world exists her voiceover work for Med School: the Musical.
Lorah has been loving her time at The Studio and is constantly surprised at how wonderful and inspiring the students are!
